Find Projects
The Find Projects page allows you to search for projects based on a complex set of criteria you define. Once you have located the desired projects, you can select one from the search results and view/modify the project detail information.
To find projects:

Access the Projects module by clicking the Projects link at the top of the page.
- Select the Find Projecttab.

Specify any of the following criteria to define the project you want to find:

Property – Click the Select link to find projects that are associated with a particular property.

Region – Select a value to find projects that are associated with a property in a specific region. If a property is selected, the Region field does not appear. To re-display the Region field, clear the property value.

Project ID – Enter a value to search by project ID number.
You must enter the exact project ID number; the system does not search by partial project numbers. If a value is specified for this field, all other criteria are ignored.

Project Name – Enter a value to find all projects include the specified characters in their name. This search is not case-sensitive.

Project Status – Select a value to find projects that are in particular status, for example, On Hold or Approved. You can select more than one status by holding down the Shift or Control key.
- Show Cancelled Projects – Select Yes to include cancelled projects in the search results.

Project Type – Select a value to find projects of a specific type.
- Project SubType – Select a value to find projects of a specific subType.

Project Manager – Click the Select link to find all projects managed by a particular user.

Budget Year – Enter a value to find all projects that are associated with the specified budget year.

GL Account – Enter a value to find all projects that are associated with the specified general ledger account.

Status – Select a value to indicate whether you want to find inactive or active projects.

Once your search criteria are defined, click FIND.
Above the result list, the total number of results is displayed. If more than 1000 results are returned, a message appears asking you to further define your criteria.
The following columns of data are displayed. You can sort the list by clicking any of the column headings that are displayed as links.

Project Name – the project name; clicking this link opens the Project Details page
- ID – the unique identifier of the project

Property – the property the project is associated with

Type – the type and subType of the project
- Project Manager – the name of the project manager

Status – the status of the project

Comments – comments about the project

Duration – the dates when the project begins and ends
